The Process
I often get asked what my process is when I begin a painting - sometimes I can't always put it into words as each piece is different. My latest untitled piece is a play on mediums - watercolor metallic, acrylic, and gesso on canvas, 24" x 19". This took me two months to complete. The video includes a close up view, and the photos below capture the detail and layers that typically goes into all my work from beginning to end. This particular piece captures natural light differently depending upon the time of day.
